COLOSSAL SCHIST BUDDHA HEAD

A colossal, exquisitely carved, black schist Buddha head with a tranquil expression, the hair wavy and rising symmetrically to a bun-shaped usnisha, the forehead with a trace of an urna, the almond-shaped eyes open beneath arched brows.
