A silver inlaid bronze portable altar with a central figure of a Jain Tirthankara beneath a canopy surrounded by other Jinas, attendants and animals

Western India, Rajasthan or Gujarat

Late 15th century

H. 14.5 cm, 5 ¾ ins.

The dedicatory inscription on the reverse is marked Saka 1515 [1458 AD]
